AUG 2022&nbsp;|&nbsp;JAZZFESTIVAL&nbsp;|&nbsp;KONZERTE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"block wp-block-paragraph\">Science-Fiction Serien der 60er und 70er Jahren wie Star Trek beschreiben eine Zukunft, in der enorme soziale und technische Fortschritte erzielt werden. Soziale Ungleichheit, Rassismus, Intoleranz, Armut und Krieg sind \u00fcberwunden. Star Trek war im 23. Jahrhundert angesiedelt. Zeit also, sich das 21. Jahrhundert musikalisch und politisch genauer anzuschauen und zu sehen, wie die Musiker:innen sich den Themen Diaspora, Migration und musikalische Identit\u00e4t n\u00e4hern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"block wp-block-paragraph\">Der Jazz als eine Form der Musik, die auf gesellschaftlichen Missst\u00e4nden wie Rassismus basiert und ihre gesellschaftlichen Wurzeln auch in erzwungener Migration und Sklaverei hat, wurde von einer j\u00fcngeren Generation nicht mehr als eine radikale Musikform wahrgenommen. Vielmehr galt der Jazz vielen Zuh\u00f6rer:innen als alt und verstaubt. In den letzten zehn Jahren hat sich eine junge Generation durchgesetzt, die ein gleichaltriges Publikum anspricht. \u00dcberhaupt lie\u00df sich ein verst\u00e4rktes Selbstbewusstsein des europ\u00e4ischen, \u201ewei\u00dfen\u201c und m\u00e4nnlich dominierten Jazz feststellen, so dass mittlerweile wieder der Wunsch nach mehr Heterogenit\u00e4t und Gleichberechtigung ge\u00e4u\u00dfert wird. Nach wie vor sind Musikerinnen im Jazz unterrepr\u00e4sentiert und noch mehr sind solche mit Migrationshintergrund in der absoluten Minderheit. Das Programm der Jazzoffensive 2022 konzentriert sich auf Projekte, die in ihren Line-ups, Migrationshintergrund, sexuelle Vielfalt und\/oder Geschlechterdiversit\u00e4t integrieren.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>PROGRAMM<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Freitag 26. August 2022, 19:30<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jean Paul Bourelly \/ Open Air fabrikgarten<br>Stian Westerhus &amp; Maja Ratkje Duo \/ fabrik gro\u00dfe B\u00fchne<br>Anarchist Republic of Bzzz \/ Open Air fabrikgarten<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Samstag 27.&nbsp;August&nbsp;2022, 19:30<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Paul Brody&#8217;s Sadawi \/ fabrik gro\u00dfe B\u00fchne<br>Soniq \/ fabrik gro\u00dfe B\u00fchne<br>KAMA Orchestra \/ fabrik gro\u00dfe B\u00fchne<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>LINE-UP<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"block wp-block-paragraph\">Mit&nbsp;<strong>Paul<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>Brody\u2018s<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>Sadawi<\/strong>&nbsp;ist eine Band eingeladen, die neben dem New Yorker Trompeter Brody mit Berliner Musiker:innen arbeitet. Aus einer reinen M\u00e4nnerband, die sich der \u201eRadical Jewish Culture\u201c verschrieben hat, ist eine Band mit einer ausgeglicheneren Besetzung geworden, indem zwei Positionen durch Frauen besetzt wurden, die sich ebenfalls mit Free Jazz, Punk und World Music besch\u00e4ftigen. Sadawi hat bereits mehrere CDs auf John Zorns renommierten Label Tzadik ver\u00f6ffentlicht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"block wp-block-paragraph\">Die&nbsp;Musik vom Gitarristen&nbsp;<strong>Jean-Paul<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>Bourelly<\/strong>&nbsp;ist gepr\u00e4gt von der haitianischen Migrantengemeinschaft und der s\u00fcdlichen Kultur der South Side von Chicago, in der er aufgewachsen ist.&nbsp;In seinen fr\u00fchen Jahren arbeitete er mit namhaften Jazzgr\u00f6\u00dfen wie dem Schlagzeuger Elvin Jones, Pharoah Sanders, dem AACM-Gr\u00fcnder Muhal Richard Abrams und Roy Haynes zusammen und nahm mit Miles Davis auf. Schon fr\u00fch machte er auf sich aufmerksam, indem er auf der Abrams-Ver\u00f6ffentlichung Blues Forever mitwirkte, die als DownBeat-Platte des Jahres ausgezeichnet wurde.&nbsp;Er arbeitete auch mit verschiedenen Mitgliedern einer neuen Generation von Experimentatoren in genre\u00fcbergreifender Musik wie Olu Dara, Henry Threadgill, Steve Coleman und Graham Haynes zusammen.&nbsp;Jean-Paul Bourelly ist ein innovativer und experimentierfreudiger Gitarrist und Komponist, der es versteht, verschiedene Musikstile zu einem koh\u00e4renten Ausdruck zu verschmelzen und zu verbiegen.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/bourelly.com\/hips-project\/\">Homepage<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"block wp-block-paragraph\">Das Projekt&nbsp;<strong>Soniq<\/strong>&nbsp;kommt aus K\u00f6ln und ist ein festes Trio bestehend aus&nbsp;<strong>Christina<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>Fuchs,<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>Ramesh<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>Shotham<\/strong><strong>und<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>Jarry<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>Singla<\/strong>, die sich in immer neue musikalische Auseinandersetzung mit Musiker:innen aus dem Nahen Osten, Asien, etc. begeben. Die eingeladenen Musiker:innen sind durch Flucht oder Vertreibung in K\u00f6ln gestrandet und versuchen sich nun in einer musikalisch und gesellschaftlich sehr diversen Umgebung mit ihren Traditionen als auch mit neuen eben auch europ\u00e4ischen Einfl\u00fcssen auseinanderzusetzen. Die staatenlose Nation (daher die Gr\u00fcndung ihrer eigenen Republik) entstand Anfang der 2000er Jahre heimlich auf Initiative von Seb El Zin. Es begann eine farbenfrohe Odyssee, die eine Br\u00fccke zwischen der formalen Komplexit\u00e4t von Jazz, improvisierter Musik, Hip Hop, ethnischer Musik, Elektronik, No Wave und der Energie des Punks schl\u00e4gt.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/anarchistrepublicofbzzz.com\/\">Homepage<\/a>&nbsp;\/&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/4o8dNtE9jSY\">Youtube<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"block wp-block-paragraph\">Das&nbsp;<strong>KAMA<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>Orchestra<\/strong>&nbsp;ist ein brandneu gegr\u00fcndetes Groove-Brass Orchester aus Potsdam. Die Besonderheit dieses Ensembles liegt in der ungew\u00f6hnlichen Besetzung: Mit insgesamt 20 verschiedenen, mehrfach besetzten Brass Instrumenten und einer Rhythmusgruppe, die zum Teil mit selbst entwickelten Perkussionsinstrumenten erg\u00e4nzt wird, mischt Kama Orchestra die Szene der gro\u00dfen Jazzensembles auf. Musikalisch verarbeitet die Band Global Beats, Funkjazz und tanzbare Clubsounds. Und noch ein Alleinstellungsmerkmal: Bei Kama Orchestra spielen Teenager mit \u00e4lteren Semestern zusammen, sowie Profis neben Amateuren- von 15 Jahren bis \u00fcber 50.
