Das Kollektiv ALL ABOUT BIRDS aus Potsdam und Berlin trifft auf den Ausnahmek\u00fcnstler und Geigenvirtuosen Jon Rose aus Alice Springs (Australien). Das Quintett pr\u00e4sentiert sich mit erweitertem Instrumentarium, wendet ungew\u00f6hnliche Spieltechniken und interaktive, computer- und sensorbasierte Praktiken an. Sie gelten alle als Expert:innen im Bereich von Experiment, Improvisation und Interpretenschaft, treten aber ebenso als Komponist:innen in Erscheinung.<\/a>


Das Projekt HINTERLAND\u00a0pr\u00e4sentiert 10 Duo- und 10 Triobesetzungen, die im Rahmen von zwei Sets ineinanderflie\u00dfend vorgestellt werden. Eine weitere Besonderheit besteht darin, dass die Musiker:innen Field Recordings aus dem Umland ihres Lebensmittelpunktes \u2013 Outback von Alice Springs, Umland Potsdams und Berlins \u2013 produzieren und in das Konzertereignis integrieren. Durch die Hervorhebung der faszinierenden Klanglandschaften exotischer Vogelrufe und wunderbar rauschender Insektenkl\u00e4nge versucht das Projekt, den h\u00e4ufig negativ konnotierten Begriff \u201eHinterland\u201c neu zu besetzen und ihn stattdessen als Raum akustischer F\u00fclle, \u00f6kologischer Vielfalt und k\u00fcnstlerischer Inspiration zu verstehen.

All About Birds & Jon Rose: HINTERLAND<\/a>

Das Projekt wird\u00a0gef\u00f6rdert vom Musikfonds e.V. mit Projektmitteln des Beauftragten der Bundesregierung f\u00fcr Kultur und Medien\u00a0sowie von der Landeshauptstadt Potsdam. Jon Rose wird von der australischen Regierung (Australian Government) im Rahmen von Creative Australia gef\u00f6rdert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
